This means you could have your keys in your pocket or in a purse and just touch the door handle and your Journey would unlock and open and then by pressing the brake and pressing the push button start you can start your journey again without having the key out of your pocket or purse. Some more of the standard features that are available is the dual zone climate control and the easy access center floor console that has cup holders, 2 – 12 volt power outlets a remote USB port, an Auxiliary Audio Input and convenient out of view storage. Also available you can get a two pronged 115 Volt / 150 watt power out in this console for hooking up a game system or another audio device. You can also get an available rear DVD system to occupy the passengers in the rear compartment of the vehicle.

When it comes to storage the 2013 Dodge Journey’s interior takes a back seat to no one. the Dodge Journey can come with either 5 person capacity or 7 person capacity. The 60/40 split seat folding second row and available third row allow a large amount of cargo space. in a three row seating Dodge Journey, with all seats folded down it gives you an available 67.6 cubic feet of cargo room. With the 2nd row upright you have 39.6 cubic feet of cargo space. You also have the ability to lay the front passenger seat flat to create even more cargo room, or to setup a comfortable workspace while you travel. The front passenger seat also has an in seat storage compartment to store a tablet or a book. So as you can tell there is plenty of space and hidden compartments to not only store but keep your items safe and out of sight.

The Dodge Journey comes with the 2.4 L VVT engine on the Dodge Journey AVP,SE, and SXT models which pushes out 173 horsepower and boasts 23 Miles Per Gallon on the highway. Also available is the Best in the V6 engine class, the 3.6 L DOHC Pentastar VVT. This engine when coupled with a six speed automatic transmission pushes out 283 horsepower and boasts 25 Miles per Gallon on the FWD models. With this engine you are able to haul up to 2,500 lbs.

The Dodge Journey was awarded the 2012 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick. part of this is because of it having 7 standard airbags. The Dodge Journey has Driver and Front Passenger Multistage airbags, supplemental Side Curtain airbags, supplemental Driver and Front Seat Passenger side impact airbags and then this vehicle also has a Knee Blocker airbag for the Driver’s protection.

The 2013 Dodge Journey Comes in four different trim levels and they are Dodge Journey AVP/SE, Journey SXT, Journey Crew, and Journey R/T.
