When a potential collision is detected by the Forward Collision Alert System then both side of the seat bottom will vibrate. The LaCrosse is available with Rear Cross Traffic Alert as well. Rear Cross Traffic Alert helps you know somethings headed your way when backing up the camera captures the view behind the car. it also works by a Radar detects vehicles approaching from the left or the right within 65 feet. This system alerts you audibly and by flashing a warning icon on the Rearview Camera screen. If the LaCrosse is equiped with the Safety Alert Seat the left or right side will vibrate in conjuction system as well. Part of the reason this was awarded is the fact that The Dodge Grand Caravan offers 45 Standard and Available Safety Features.
